A Spirit Master, A Chef & a Winemaker
La Madonna Melbourne showcases favourite Mornington Peninsula producers from cocktails to dessert
For two nights only – and with just six sought after spots each night – this is a chance to get up close and personal with one of the city’s most talented chefs, a mixologist and a winemaker as they immerse you a menu spanning bespoke cocktails to dessert with Mornington Peninsula produce taking centre stage.
Start in the intimate surrounds of La Madonna’s Barrel Room, where Spirit Master Olando and Dromana distillery founder James McPherson from JimmyRum, demonstrate a barrel decanting of a cocktail aged specially for the occasion. Enjoy canapés alongside a freshly made drink concoction designed to help you discover why La Madonna’s distinct cocktail barrel-maturing process pays off in the glass.
Move to a secret chef’s table in La Madonna’s restaurant, where chef Paul Turner will personally prepare a four course meal before your eyes perfectly matched to Elgee Park Wines, the oldest winery on the Mornington Peninsula. Wine professional Darren Wilcock will join you, topping your glass and offering guided tasting notes for each course, with dessert accompanied by a Bass & Flinders spirit.
Part education, part indulgence, this is an evening for lovers of good food, good drinks and good company.
